In the summer of 2024, Stefania Karathanasi and Dimitri Engasser started with a feasibility study and a big dream. By 2025, that ambition took shape with the grand opening of CrossFit Pantheonin Munsbach, Luxembourg.

Looking back, what were your company’s key challenges or obstacles?

M. Engassar: Let’s be honest—launching a premium fitness facility in a competitive market isn’t just about the workouts. As a startup, we faced significant hurdles: high initial capital expenditure and the pressure of ensuring financial sustainability during those critical early months.

What specific goals were you hoping to achieve when you first considered seeking financial support?

Mr Engasser: To deliver the high-end service our members deserve without compromising our cash flow, we needed more than just a business plan—we needed the right financial partner.
