SNCI is a credit institution authorized in Luxembourg by the Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF).
Terms of use
(i) Website access conditions
Any person (hereinafter the “User“) accessing this website (hereinafter the “Website“) is presumed to have read and unconditionally accepted all the provisions and terms of use of this Website (“Terms of Use“) published by SNCI. The Terms of Use are for information purposes only. The operation of the Website and the Terms of Use do not bind the User.
The Website is accessible at anytime from anywhere in the world. The User who connects to the Site is solely responsible for complying with the laws and regulations in force in their country of residence or the country from which they connect to the Site. These Terms of Use may be modified by SNCI at any timeThe version of the Terms of Use applicable to any use of the Site is the one available and published on the Site at the time of access by the User. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Terms of Use shall not affect the validity of the other provisions.
These Terms of Use constitute and express the entire intent of SNCI and the User and supersede all other agreements, understandings, or arrangements, whether oral or written, relating to or connected with the subject matter of this agreement.
(ii) Disclaimer
While SNCI makes every reasonable effort to ensure the accuracy of the information contained on the Site and potentially posted online through other communication channels, no guarantee is given to the User as to its accuracy, and SNCI cannot eliminate the risk of material errors. Under no circumstances can SNCI be held liable for the accuracy of the information provided, nor can it guarantee that the data is complete, accurate, or up-to-date. All information is provided subject to inaccuracies, incompleteness, modification, errors, or omissions.
SNCI also disclaims all liability for content originating from websites published by third parties, or from social media pages, to which the Site links or from which it receives hyperlinks.
Finally, SNCI disclaims all liability and excludes all warranties in the event of temporary, partial, or total interruption of the Site or in the event of Site malfunction.
The information appearing on this Site relates to SNCI’s missions and activities. It is not intended to take into account the User’s personal or specific circumstances. Therefore, it cannot be considered individual, professional, or legal advice to the User. If the User requires advice, whether specialized or not, they are invited to consult the relevant services via the contact form provided.
As access to the Site is via the Internet, the User acknowledges and accepts the associated risks. The User must protect themselves against the effects of hacking by adopting an appropriate and secure computer configuration. SNCI shall not be held liable for any direct or indirect damages that the User may incur as a result of accessing the Site, the websites to which it refers, or their use.
(iii) Intellectual property
For the purposes of this section, the term “Intellectual Property Rights” means, without limitation and where applicable, all patents, utility models, ideas and rights in inventions (patentable or not, or limited to practice), improvements, all copyrights and related rights (including, without limitation, rights of reproduction, distribution, communication to the public, rental and lending), trademarks (registered or unregistered), service marks, design rights (registered or unregistered), brand names, product names, logos, slogans, trade names, corporate names and reputation, domain names, database rights, rights in confidential and/or proprietary information (including, without limitation, know-how and trade secrets), software rights (including, without limitation, algorithms, application programming interfaces, source code, executable and object code, devices, designs and circuit assemblies), Network configurations and architectures, concepts, marketing and development plans, methods, and all other intellectual property rights, whether registered or unregistered, including all applications for and renewals or extensions of such rights, and all similar or equivalent rights or forms of protection anywhere in the world.
SNCI holds full ownership of this Site (architecture, text, titles, photographs, graphics, animations, sounds, images, illustrations, layout, services, etc.). This Site, as well as all its constituent elements, are protected by Intellectual Property Rights.
Any use by the User of the content of this Site, including Intellectual Property Rights, is prohibited for commercial purposes without the written consent of SNCI.
Any modification, transformation, or adaptation, in whole or in part, of the aforementioned types of content is prohibited.
The User is authorized to view, download, and print the content of this Site for private use without prior request, provided that the source is expressly acknowledged. Users who reproduce content for private use agree not to use it in a manner contrary to human dignity and respect for the individual.
The rights implicitly or explicitly granted to you above constitute a license to use the content and in no way a transfer of rights, ownership, or other rights relating to this Site.
Any breach of the foregoing may render the User liable.

(v) Processing of personal data
In accordance with Règlement (UE) 2016/679 du Parlement européen et du Conseil du 27 avril 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (hereinafter “GDPR”), and applicable national data protection laws (including the Law of 1 August 2018 on the organisation of the National Commission for Data Protection and the general data protection regime, as amended and replaced (hereinafter the “Personal Data Protection Laws”), SNCI, acting as The data controller collects, stores, and processes, electronically or otherwise, the data provided by the User when using this Site.
All terms used in the GDPR, unless otherwise defined in this notice, have the meanings given to them in that regulation.
The User declares and warrants that they have carefully read this notice regarding the processing of their personal data by SNCI.

1. What personal data does SNCI process?
Generally, the User is not required to disclose personal data in order to use the This Site does not automatically collect any personal data when a User visits the Site.
The only personal data processed when a User visits the Site is technical information collected from certain cookies that SNCI has implemented after obtaining the User’s prior consent. For more information, please see Section vii Use of Cookies below.
SNCI may also process personal data when the User sends data by completing and submitting one of the forms on the Site or by contacting SNCI in any other way. The User’s personal data received by SNCI will be processed exclusively to respond to the User’s requests and for any future email communication that may result from a potential business relationship between the User and SNCI.
The personal data processed by SNCI may include, in particular, the User’s name and contact information, the User’s IP address, and any other information that The User may be required to disclose to SNCI (hereinafter, collectively, the “Personal Data“).
2. How does SNCI use this personal data?
SNCI processes the User’s personal data based on its legitimate interest, to respond to the User’s requests when the User has contacted SNCI and for general purposes of managing the relationship with the User, if necessary.
SNCI may also, where applicable, process personal data to take steps at the User’s request before entering into a contract or when necessary for the performance of a contract with the User.
The User’s consent is also required before the use of certain cookies to optimize the User’s experience on the Site.
3. With whom is personal data shared?
Personal Data may also be processed by SNCI’s data recipients (the “Recipients”), who, for the purposes described above, include our website administrator, our website analytics service provider, a data center, our internet service provider, a backup server provider, social media platforms, and our communications agency.
The Recipients may, under their own responsibility, disclose Personal Data to their agents and/or delegates (the “Sub-Recipients“), who will process the Personal Data solely to assist the Recipients in providing their services to SNCI and/or to assist the Recipients in fulfilling their own legal obligations.
The Recipients may be located within or outside the European Economic Area (“EEA“).
If the Recipients and Sub-recipients are located in a country outside the EEA that has received an adequacy decision from the European Commission, the Personal Data will be transferred to the Recipients and Sub-recipients based on that adequacy decision. When the Recipients and Sub-recipients are located outside the EEA, in a country that does not ensure an adequate level of protection for Personal Data, SNCI enters into legally binding transfer agreements with the Recipients concerned, in the form of standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission or any other appropriate safeguards in accordance with the GDPR, as well as, where applicable, additional measures. In this regard, the User has the right to request copies of the relevant document to enable the transfer(s) of Personal Data to these countries by writing to SNCI at the address mentioned in question 5 of this notice.
The Recipients and Sub-Recipients may, as appropriate, process Personal Data as sub-processors (when they process Personal Data on behalf of and under the instructions of SNCI and/or the Recipients), or as separate controllers (when processing Personal Data for their own purposes, namely to fulfill their own legal obligations).
4. How does SNCI protect personal data?
SNCI uses Security Sockets Layer (“SSL”) encryption to encrypt personal data before it is sent over the internet.
SNCI places great importance on the security of personal data. SNCI adheres to generally accepted standards to protect personal data both when it is sent by the user and when it is received by SNCI. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of storing electronic data over the internet is 100% secure. For this reason, SNCI can never guarantee absolute data security.
Due to the technical requirements necessitated by reliability and security needs, SNCI may need to store personal data in locations over which SNCI has no direct control (for example, on servers in a data center, at internet service providers, or on backup servers).
5. What are the User’s rights?
In accordance with the provisions of the GDPR, the User acknowledges their right:
- to request access to their Personal Data;
- to request the rectification of their Personal Data when it is inaccurate or incomplete;
- to object to the processing of their Personal Data;
- to request restriction of the use of their Personal Data;
- to request the erasure of their Personal Data;
- to request the portability of their Personal Data.

The User may also exercise their rights by contacting the National Commission for Data Protection (the “CNPD” www.cnpd.public.lu) at the following postal address: 15, Boulevard du Jazz, L-4370 Belvaux, Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
6. How long is personal data retained?
SNCI will retain the User’s Personal Data for the duration of the relationship between the parties and only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which the Personal Data was collected, unless longer or shorter statutory limitation periods apply. At the end of these retention periods, SNCI will securely destroy the Personal Data in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
7. Changes to this Notice
This notice may be updated by SNCI periodically and without prior notice. When changes are made to this notice, they will be made available to the User on this Website. SNCI therefore encourages the User to regularly review this notice to understand how SNCI protects and uses your Personal Data.
(vi) Dispute and Complaint Handling Procedure
In accordance with legal and regulatory requirements, SNCI has a complaint handling procedure.
For complaints other than those relating to the processing of Personal Data (see the section above), the User must submit their complaint in writing to SNCI at the following postal address: SNCI, P.O. Box 1207, L-1012 Luxembourg.
To be considered, all complaints must include:
- The name and address of the complainant;
- Identification of the file that is the subject of the complaint;
- The exact subject of the complaint and a detailed, chronological description of the facts giving rise to the complaint;
- If a person is acting on behalf of a third-party complainant or a legal entity, a document attesting to their authority to represent them.
SNCI may request the production of any other document or information it deems necessary for the investigation of the complaint.
Confirmation of receipt of the complaint will be sent to the User within ten (10) business days. If, after submitting a complete complaint with all required information, the User has not received a response or has received an unsatisfactory response within one month, the complainant may initiate an out-of-court dispute resolution procedure by filing a complaint with the Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF) using the forms available at: : https://www.cssf.lu/fr/reclamations-clientele/.
SNCI is entitled to communicate with the CSSF regarding any complaint or communication submitted to them.
(vii) Applicable law and jurisdiction
Regardless of the place of use, these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
SNCI and the User irrevocably agree that any dispute arising from or related to these Terms and Conditions shall be submitted exclusively to the courts of the City of Luxembourg, Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
